Last time at Philosophy in Pubs (in Edinburgh) we discussed "art". So, what is art? Is it just reduced to technical skills? What`s the difference between art and artistic? Is it a form of communication or not? Can self-expressionism be considered art? Is creativity really necessary in the formation of art of is it only a distractive impulse? Criticism, an other form of art? What`s the connection between art and morality? Art in religion: how much did it contributed?

The topic from last meeting was mainly "nationalism". As the group consisted of people from all different countries, the argument almost came out spontaneously. So, what is nationalism? Is it a form of identity? Is it true national pride? How many of you consider themselves a nationalist? And if so, WHY? Is nationalism a good thing? When does it become dangerous? Should you blame yourself for the repercussions of "your" country`s actions? And are you responsible for those? Are you ashamed of the country you live in? Why is sport strictly connected with patriotism?
